It all began in 1983
It was in 1983 that Ahmed El Idrissi and his wife Mauricette left Belgium. Armed with their experience gained at a renowned chocolatier and driven by their passion for real chocolate, they decided to embark on the crazy adventure of chocolate making in Morocco. After modest beginnings where they made pralines in their kitchen to sell to acquaintances, Pralinor was born in 1983 and immediately impressed the residents of Casablanca, delighted to see a chocolate artisan finally open its doors near them…


1985 - Opening of the shop

2005 - Opening of the 1st Pralinor in China
Yes, China! Mehdi, one of the Idrissi siblings, decided to develop the brand in Shanghai where he was living at the time. The concept was well-received and Pralinor met with great success among the population, establishing itself as one of the very first to provide artisanal chocolate in a modern and vibrant Shanghai.
2017 - Passing the Torch in the company
